Dead by Daylight has released a new teaser for its upcoming Terrifier chapter, which will not only include a new killer and survivor duo, but also finally add a new map to the game. Now available on the PTB, the chapter is slated for release on Nov. 24.
As confirmed by BHVR today, the DBD Terrifier chapter will include the iconic psycho-killer Art the Clown, who will be accompanied by The Final Girl Sienna Shaw. Both serve as the main antagonist and protagonist of the Terrifier franchise, respectively, and come packed with loads of unique abilities that’ll help set them apart from the rest of the cast.

Art’s main ability is his Bag of Toys, which, as BHVR explains, lets him reach “into his trash bag for a random selection of weapons including a flail, a flamethrower, a firearm, a beer bottle full of acid, and even a funky little bike horn.” Building on the recently established tradition of Mini-Moris that we saw in Jason’s chapter, Art will have a myriad of flashy ways to kill the survivors and build toward them using his curious mixture of tools.
What I found to be interesting is his perk Kill Spree, which lets Art or any killer carrying the perk kill any survivor that has reached second hook state once all generators are completed. Most of his perk kit seems aimed toward anti-generator tactics, which is reminiscent of the now-gone Hellraiser.
On the other hand, Sienna Shawn comes with her own set of perks and abilities that’ll help her survive any encounter in DBD. Best Gift Ever lets Sienna drop items with passive bonuses, Shared Trauma can cure Exhaustion on survivors near her if she gets a Protection hit (takes a shot soon after getting unhooked), while Valkyrie’s Rage lets her perform “an extra-powerful pallet stun.”
But as the headline of this article states, this chapter will introduce a new map into the game—The Hartshorne Mall. The map is BHVR’s response to player requests to introduce more liminal spaces into the game, so prepare for strange corridors and uncanny valleys to unfold within the Fog.
