Fortnite referenced in Nintendo Switch eShop update

One more week until the E3 Direct presentation

Between a recent E3 2018 leak, a listing from Korea’s ratings board, and a juicy find spotted by a dataminer, we just can’t seem to stop using “Fortnite” and “Nintendo Switch” in the same sentence.

Earlier today, hacker SciresM discovered a hidden reference to Fortnite in a new update that Nintendo pushed to the Switch eShop. Also, a logo — he straight up found the game’s logo.

This is not unlike the time we learned about Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser’s Minions from a 3DS eShop listing. Going one step further, that discovery was even made by the same person.

At this rate, it seems entirely plausible that Fortnite will get one of those “available later today!” moments Nintendo loves to sprinkle in during its E3 and Direct presentations.
