Arc System Works Interchannel is developing a Fist of the North Star fighting game for the PSP. Of course, this is just the next title in the massive heap of Fist of the North Star games, all based on the badass manga and anime.

This new PSP game, called Hokuto no Ken: Raoh Gaiden Ten no Haoh, is based on the new anime of the same name, which is set to debut in Japan on October 2nd. You won’t be surprised to find out that this one is a cell-shaded brawler with wireless ad hoc support. Players will also be able to put their fists into destructible environments, says Famitsu.

Siliconera says that confirmed characters include Raoh, Thouzer, Uighur, Jagi, and Reina. The title is currently set for a winter release in Japan. I’m currently set to watch the anime debut in two days.
