Fisch Rod Tier List – Best Rods to Use [Egg Hunt] (April 2025)

There are so many rods in Fisch, and if you’re anything like us, you’ve been stuck trying to figure out which ones to get and which ones to skip. To help you avoid this, we made this handy Rod Tier List so you can know which rods are truly worth getting.

We won’t be covering every rod in the game, only the best ones. If you don’t see a rod on this list, it probably means it’s not good enough. Without further ado, here is our definitive Roblox Fisch rod tier list!

Fisch Roblox Rod Tier List

In the following Fisch tier lists, we’re only going to focus on the rods we think are worth getting. We tried to cover rods you should get when you’re just starting out, those that are useful in specific situations (like farming for money and EXP, and those that you’ll want to have when you reach end-game. Note: While we already have a Rod Enchant guide, this list won’t cover which enchantments work best with each rod. This Tier List is for the First Sea.

This list only covers Rods in the First Sea. Check out the Fisch Second Sea Rod Tier List to see which rods work well in the Second Sea. Spoiler alert: Since the last update, most of these rods can be used in the Second Sea, so the lists should even out.

S Tier Rods in Fisch

Seraphic Rod	Lure: 95% Luck: 150% Control: 0.25 Resilience: 20% Max Kg: Inf.	Fills your progress bar by half whenever you hook a fish. You need to reach level 1,000 to get this rod.
Ethereal Prism Rod	Lure: 95% Luck: 195% Control: 0.25 Resilience: 40% Max Kg: Inf.	Incredible stats. Has a very high chance of catching mutated fish, especially Prismize ones. Extremely expensive at C$15,000,000, but it’s the best rod for money making.
Challenger’s Rod	Lure: 80% Luck: 110% Control: 0.2 Resilience: 30% Max Kg: Inf.	Gives you a 20% reel speed increase and has amazing luck and decent resistance. One of the best rods in the game for XP farming.
Heaven’s Rod	Lure: 30% Luck: 225% Control: 0.2 Resilience: 30% Max Kg: Inf.	Somewhat expensive, but completely worth it. Has one of the best Luck stats in the game, making it one of the best rods for catching Exotic and Secret Fish. Gives you a 15% chance to catch a Heavenly mutated fish (5x value).
Rod of The Forgotten Fang	Lure: 78% Luck: 145% Control: 0.22 Resilience: 25% Max Kg: Inf.	After every three fish you catch, you get another higher tier fish with a 15-20% increased size. Great for farming money.
Zeus Rod	Lure: 40% Luck: 70% Control: 0.25 Resilience: 15% Max Kg: Inf.	Can turn the fishing area into a thunderstorm, which allows you to catch Electrical Shock fish. The second best rod in the game for money making.
Rod of the Depths	Lure: 65% Luck: 130% Control: 0.15 Resilience: 10% Max Kg: 30,000	One of the most profitable rods in the game. Every time you catch three fish, you get another one. More fish = more money.
No-Life Rod	Lure: 90% Luck: 105% Control: 0.23 Resilience: 10% Max Kg: Inf.	You get this rod when you hit level 500, and the game will tell you that you don’t have a life. High chance for caught fish to have the Hexed mutation (1.5x Value). Extremely good value.

A Tier Rods in Fisch

Kraken Rod	Lure: 60% Luck: 185% Control: 0.2 Resilience: 15% Max Kg: 1,115,000 kg	Has a chance to give you another fish of the one you just caught. Great stats but very expensive (C$1,3 mil.). Mostly used for catching the Kraken.
Trident Rod	Lure: 20% Luck: 150% Control: 0 Resilience: 0% Max Kg: 6,000	Really useful for catching difficult fish. 30% chance for a fish to have the Atlantean mutation (3x value).
Sunken Rod	Lure: 30% Luck: 150% Control: 0.15 Resilience: 15% Max Kg: 5,000	Excellent for farming treasure maps. Has good stats and can be useful in other specific situations. Nice to have.
Mythical Rod	Lure: 0% Luck: 45% Control: 0.05 Resilience: 0% Max Kg: 2,000	A bit expensive but gives you a 30% increase in catching Mythic fish. Always useful.
Summit Rod	Lure: 15% Luck: 75% Control: 0.25 Resilience: 15% Max Kg: 200,000	One of the easiest rods to get in the game with great stats. Otherwise, not that special
Arctic Rod	Lure: 45% Luck: 65% Control: 0.18 Resilience: 15% Max Kg: 80,000	Introduced in the Northern Expedition update. It’s cheap, has high stats, and is one of the best rods in the game. Highly recommend getting it.
Rod of the Eternal King	Lure: 50% Luck: 160% Control: 0.175 Resilience: 15% Max Kg: 75,000	You need to be level 650 to craft this rod. Boosts luck. Has a 20% chance to catch Greedy fish (x4 value). Absolutely worth it if you manage to craft it.
Poseidon Rod	Lure: 50% Luck: 165% Control: 0.2 Resilience: 40% Max Kg: 100,000 kg	Each time you hook a fish, you get around 75% of the fish’s value in money (you don’t even need to catch the fish).

B Tier Rods in Fisch

Kings Rod	Lure: -45% Luck: 55% Control: 0.15 Resilience: 35% Max Kg: Inf.	If you’re going for a really heavy fish, this is a great pick. Otherwise, there are better rods.
Nocturnal Rod	Lure: -10% Luck: 70% Control: 0 Resilience: 0% Max Kg: 2,000	Can catch Nocturnal fish better than other rods. Not very useful for much else.
Aurora Rod	Lure: 10% Luck: 60% Control: 0.06 Resilience: 6% Max Kg: 6,000	If you are in an Aurora zone, you need to have this rod because it’s amazing for money-making. Has a 15% increase in Aurora mutations.
Magma Rod	Lure: -70% Luck: 15% Control: 0 Resilience: 0% Max Kg: 1,200	Can catch fish in lava (from the Roslit Volcano). That’s it.
Steady Rod	Lure: -60% Luck: 35% Control: 0.05 Resilience: 30% Max Kg: 100,000	Probably the best rod after getting the Carbon rod.
Carbon Rod	Lure: -10% Luck: 25% Control: 0.05 Resilience: 10% Max Kg: 600	The best starting rod in the game. This should be the first rod you should aim for when just starting.
