Earlier today we got word of some juicy details for Bloodborne, From Software’s Soul-like PS4 exclusive that’s set to drop next year. Now we have actual confirmation of what the in-game engine looks like, and it’s pretty incredible. The PS4 power really stand out, and the draw distance looks really rad — like really, really rad. This is going to give a completely new dimension to the beautiful worlds From Software creates.

To top things off, here’s a quote from visionary director Hidetaka Miyazaki: “Creating Bloodborne as a completely new game on the new PlayStation 4 hardware has allowed us to really push the envelope in myriad ways. That being said, in more ways than one, it also very much retains our distinct, signature style. As has been at the core of our development philosophy since Demon’s Souls, we make true games for people who love games. Please watch for more to come on Bloodborne, and thank you very much for your support.”
