FFVI fans, commence your ‘hhhhhnnghhs’

A new video for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn has emerged, and it features the iconic techno-suit straight from the Gestahlian Empire (Final Fantasy VI), the Magitek Armor. This feature was already known, but the new video in a nutshell features three players walking in a snowy area (mirroring FFVI’s intro), and it’s enough to get me pumped to try out A Realm Reborn.

For those who aren’t aware, A Realm Reborn is a complete rework of the PC MMO Final Fantasy XIV, which had a rather disappointing and buggy release. It has a new engine, better server support, and completely revamped game mechanics. As a massive fan of Final Fantasy XI, I was personally let down by XIV from the moment I played it at E3 all the way into launch, so I hope these new reworks are worth checking out.
