Final Fantasy IV: The After Years is on its way to Steam next month, Square Enix just announced.

The episodic role-playing game takes place nearly two decades after the events of the original Final Fantasy IV. The story follows familiar faces and new heroes alike, such as Ceodore Harvey, Cecil and Rosa’s baby boy.

It was originally released on Japanese mobile phones in 2008 before seeing an international release on WiiWare the next year. Since then the latter-day sequel has made its way to PlayStation Portable, iOS, and Android.

Expect to see a marginally more fancy version on Steam starting May 12.
