FC 27 will go live later this week in early access, but before that, you’ll be able to enjoy the Web App and the Companion App to fine tune your Ultimate Team squads. While the Web App/Companion App might not allow you to play matches, you can do plenty to give yourself a head start.

While EA Sports has remained tight-lipped about the release date, we can make certain predictions based on previous years.

FC 27 expected release date

If you try to access the Web App now, you’ll find an error. The reason is simple: the website is being prepared for FC 27. The game goes live on Sept. 18 (few hours earlier for PC in certain parts of the world). However, the Web App always launches a couple of days earlier.

My money is for the Web App to go live earlier on Sept. 15 or Sept. 16. We already have a gameplay deep dive coming up on Sept. 15. The trailer could also mark the start of the Web App for FC 27.

What to expect from FC 27 Web App

As always, we won’t have a “new” website. Instead, EA Sports will be reusing the same website that we used previously for FC 26, but it will likely have new features to align with the upcoming launch. You’ll be able to manage your Ultimate Squad without needing to start the game.

You will be able to open different packs and tweak your lineup. The reinvented SBC system will also be there on the Web App. If we go with history, completing SBCs is best done on the Web App.

The Companion App will be an extension of the Web App that’s made for mobile devices. You’ll need to get the much-required update once that’s available on iOS and Android.
