FarmVille to hit all sorts of mobile platofrms

We’ve heard rumblings that Zynga Games’ FarmVille was headed to the iPad, but we didn’t hear that the studio wanted to drop the ginormous Facebook social game on other mobile devices — until this afternoon. Domain registrations exposed by Supererogatory prove that the studio are at least eying the prospect of putting the game on the iPad as well as the iPhone and Android in addition to somehow allowing users to interact with the game via SMS messaging.

Speaking with Joystiq when reached for comment about the domain discoveries, the social games company went vague. “Zynga plans to expand to various mobile platforms, unfortunately, we cannot provide additional information at this time.” Despite the response, we’re guessing now that Zynga plans to bring the game to everything. We heard that money baths are even more relaxing when the tub is the size of a submarine.
