Kicking a gangster in Fallen Aces

Fallen Aces is a gangster-bashing FPS from New Blood with a slick style

Hand-drawn melee mayhem

New Blood Interactive has been a fun one to watch, and the publisher’s upcoming gangster-bashing “crime noir FPSFallen Aces has my full attention. You’ve gotta see some hand-drawn goons get pummeled in the E3 2021 trailer. I know there are a thousand game trailers vying for your attention at E3, but it’s a good ‘un!

Fallen Aces is coming to us from Trey Powell and Jason Bond, and I think they’re onto something special that doesn’t bite off more than it can chew. This is a “world of heroes, villains, crime, corruption, and betrayal” with “three episodes and dozens of levels.”

Beyond melee antics like punching a man through a fence or clobbering his buddies with a pipe, there’s hard-hitting gunplay — that pistol took a dude’s head off!

In terms of a release window, Steam suggests a cheeky “SOON.” I’m intrigued so far.
