Last part of Season 3
During the madness of EVO 2016, Microsoft announced the final character for Killer Instinct‘s Season 3 period — Eyedol, the two-headed final boss of the original. At this point, every single character in both original Killer Instinct games is now accounted for. So if you didn’t think that the new iteration was “complete” at launch, it most certainly is now.
Eyedol will be available on July 22 for Ultra Edition owners, and one week later for regular folk. Having him close out the season is a great idea, and given its presence at various tournaments this past year, it’s only getting better. I hope there’s a Season 4, even if it’s just tweaks and gameplay updates.
