Evolution talks community-centric focus of DriveClub

Expect to be challenged

Of the games shown off at Sony’s PlayStation 4 announcement event, DriveClub was one of the more notable titles. Going in line with the racing genre’s obsession with connected, social play, Evolution Studios will be focusing on building a thriving community.

“What we want to achieve with DriveClub is basically a game which transcends this standard racing experience,” said director Col Rodgers. “We want to make it so it’s motivated and driven by the community itself. So it’s very much a case of players getting involved, creating their own events, and actually building a community around the tools we offer them.”

Should be pretty good, from the looks of it. What’ll it be — this or Forza Motorsport 5? Or both?
