Backwards compatibility! Your move Sony
Well, that was a nice little conference! Microsoft didn’t blow me away this year, but I enjoyed it as a whole, and so far, there have been no disasters of any kind on the level of Caffeine Man (Google it).
The biggest news for me had to be the announcement of backwards compatibility for Xbox 360 games on Xbox One (your move Sony), as well as some new game reveals like Gears 4, which looks utterly new tonally, and ReCore from the minds of Keiji Inafune and the Metroid Prime development team.
So far, I’d rank Microsoft above Bethesda.
