The new Season Update is live in FC Mobile, and there are some considerable changes to go through. The Gauntlet mode has been adopted for the mobile version of the game after making its PC and console debut last year. But that’s not all, as the 3rd Anniversary Event has also kicked off in the new season.

FC Mobile Gauntlet Mode explained
The Gauntlet Mode forces you to play against AI with your full roster of cards. Each card you use can be used a limited number of times before its count goes to zero. When that happens, you’ll need to replace them in your squad to continue playing against the AI.
The objective is to defeat the AI to get Gems, and there’s plenty to be won. However, you’ll need to have a stacked roster to go all the way. Still, you can take your time, and I believe we will get different versions throughout the year.
FC Mobile 3rd Anniversary Event
The new Season Update also marks the start of the game’s 3rd Anniversary event. EA Sports has brought back the fan-favorite events from the previous year with better rewards. At launch, the TOTS and Ginga events are available in the game. More will arrive in the coming weeks.
Players have four weeks to grind the event to obtain all the available rewards. The Anniversary event also offers its own Draft, with Pool A now available. If you’re lucky, you could end up with a 122-rated Mbappé to add to your team.
New playstyles and visuals
The visuals have been given a coat of fresh paint for the fans to enjoy. There are also two new PlayStyles: Incisive Through Pass and Dead Ball. While the former allows you to split open hard defenses with a swift pass, the latter allows you to take free kicks and corners like an expert.
You can combine these PlayStyles with the new Game Plan system that allows you to save up to five different formations and switch seamlessly during a match. This offers greater tactical flexibility for you to enjoy and change depending on the situation. The Season Update is now available on both Android and iOS, and there are some cool freebies available for new and existing players alike.
