[Update: EA has lowered the price of digital PS4 games again, down to £54.99, the same price as the Xbox One, Eurogamer reports. So the parity is nice. That’s still quite expensive, at about $100 USD, and more expensive than some of these games are being sold physically (FIFA 14 runs £47 on Amazon).]

For some reason, Electronic Arts priced digital versions of its PS4 launch games at £62.99 on the UK PS Store. Or, £8 more than they’re priced on the Xbox One (£54.99).

EA has repriced its digital PS4 library, lowering the price by £3, to £59.99. Or, £5 more than they’re priced on the Xbox One.

How’s that Microsoft partnership treating you, EA? This is why used games exist. You peddle DLC and microtransactions while simultaneously making digital titles more expensive than retail.
