Okay, I have my game of the show so far.
Granted, it’s only Monday, and Nintendo still has the chance to announce Pikmin 3 and change my life, but, so far, Rayman Origins is the game that I want more than any other.
During Ubisoft’s press conference, Rayman mastermind (and one of my favorite game designers) Michel Ancel came on stage to present the game. It goes without saying that Rayman Origins looks gorgeous. Stunning 2D side-scrolling levels. Fluid animation. Creative level design (um, did you see that Tetris-inspired level?!). Tons of variety. CO-OP! I am salivating over everything about this game right now.
I can’t wait to play more of Rayman Origins on the show floor. What do you think? SO RIDICULOUSLY AMAZING, RIGHT?!
