Cliff Bleszinski and Ice-T took to the stage at Microsoft’s E3 press conference to play a little Gears of War 3. The demo showed Marcus, Dom and Cole on a ship in the middle of an ocean being attacked some sort of tentacled monstrosity. In the excitement, Cole takes control of a heavily-armed exoskeleton called a “Silverback”
The presentation felt heavy on cutscene and light on gameplay, but Gears looks just as sick as ever. And that Silverback looks like a beast of a machine to run around in. Hopefully we get to mount up in that bad boy when Gears of War 3 releases later this year.
