Right now, during Microsoft’s E3 press ponference, Hideo Kojima came out to show footage of the new game Metal Gear Solid: Rising. It was one of the coolest things I have ever seen.
Granted, I am a huge Metal Gear fanboy, but, wow. Seeing Raiden — the playable character in the game — cut through everything on-screen was one of the most badass things I have seen in a really long time.
And cutting is exactly what the game is going to be all about. Using an on-screen reticule/guide, players will take part in a third-person action title (reminiscent of Ninja Gaiden) that follows Raiden as he slices and dices his way through … well … everything.
Seriously, the footage shown has Raiden cutting up robots, soldiers, concrete walls, and EVEN WATERMELONS! This title definitely looks like one to watch out for!
