Castlevania: Lords of Shadow is one of the most anticipated upcoming console titles, and our video team on the show floor has managed to snag five minutes of gameplay to help soothe your Castlevania cravings.
It opens with some nice scenery shots, and we see what appears to be a caravan traveling on a high mountain road. They make it to what appears to be a town, and are promptly attacked by wolf creatures. Gabriel Belmont busts out the Combat Cross, and we get the introductory/tutorial battle for the game.
The video should give you a taste of Lords of Shadow‘s combat system, which is markedly different from past Castlevania games. Are you guys excited for this, or are you afraid it strays too far from the classic Castlevania formula?
