E3 09: Microsoft says there’s more to come

Recommended Videos

Only an idiot would deny that Microsoft rocked E3 yesterday. Regardless of whether you love or hate the company, they provided a barrel load of crowd pleasing announcements and a load of stupid sh*t, which is pretty much what you want from a good conference. Despite blowing a huge load yesterday morning, however, Microsoft’s Shane Kim promises that more is on the way.

We didn’t put every Microsoft Game Studios game that’s coming out this year on stage, so I don’t think you can use that as the only proxy,” he explains. “But there’s no question that we have tremendous third-party support.”

Microsoft went from having no real upcoming games to a fantastic number of hot exclusives, and it’ll be interesting to raid the show floor and see what else they have. It’ll also be interesting to see what Sony counters with this morning, considering the fact that its biggest announcement was leaked, and more or less disliked by the majority of our readers.
