E3 09: MAG lives up to its name in this live demonstration

Earlier today, we were shown the first gameplay footage of Zipperfly Interactive’s MMOFPS MAG during Sony’s press conference. Hours later, I am still trying to calm myself down from my initial shocked state.

A crew of eight was brought on stage to demo some of the basic objectives players will be asked to accomplish, show how squad leaders can give commands to their troops, and give an overview on how absurdly large the maps will be in MAG.

Much to the audience’s enjoyment, it was also revealed that the game will be playable on the E3 show floor with full 256 player support. It goes without saying, but yes, we’ll be giving you more in-depth coverage soon.
