E3 09: I watch a Lips trailer so you don’t have to

Recommended Videos

Sure, you have already heard Coldplay’s “Viva la Vida” approximately 5,000 times on the radio, but why not hear it once more thanks to the first Lips: Number One Hits trailer? Spoiler: It’s a nice effort, but there’s simply no beating the memorable “Take on Me” commercial for the original game.

Although Number One Hits isn’t releasing on Xbox 360 for quite a while — October, to be more specific — I can’t help but feel like it’s almost unnecessary with the amount of consistent DLC being provided for Lips. “But Jordan,” you ask, “how can you say that about this Lips sequel when you are in support of Left 4 Dead 2 coming so soon after the first game?”

Well, for starters, that game’s box art doesn’t have an infected person dropping a peace sign, so my point is more or less proven. That, my friends, is how you use a post about Lips to discuss zombies.
