How to join the technical test event

There are actually two ways to try and get into the Duet Night Abyss technical test event: being selected specifically by the devs, or getting lucky via the Demonic Lunarian minigame on the website. Here’s how both work.

Join via being selected by the devs after filling out a survey

Those wanting to get accepted directly into the technical test event can do so by visiting the official Duet Night Abyss website. It’s a relatively straightforward process but here are the steps you need to take to attempt to get in:

  1. Create a HeroGames account on the D.N.A. website.
  2. Login and visit the technical test event recruitment page.
  3. You must fill out the questionnaire about your gaming habits, interests, and experiences. Answer it truthfully but also keep in mind for a first technical test, HeroGames is probably looking for players with experience in similar games.

Join by drawing an invitation via the Demonic Lunarian minigame

If you want to try and take fate into your own hands and get into the D.N.A. technical test event, there’s another option called the Invitation from the Demonic Lunarian. Login to your HeroGames account on that page and complete the following steps to get draw tickets:

  • Log in to the Lunarian Invitation for the first time – 1 Ticket
  • Pre-register for the game – 1 Ticket
  • Follow Duet Night Abyss on all of its social media accounts – 5 Tickets total
  • Share the Demonic Lunarian event page – 1 Ticket
  • Invite a friend to register on the Demonic Lunarian event page – 3 Tickets total
  • Link your e-mail to your account – 1 Ticket
  • Fill out the technical test recruitment survey from above – 1 Ticket

In total, you can get 13 tickets.; Now head back to the main event page and click Prize Draws where you will get random rewards in exchange for your tickets. It’s rare, but it’s possible to get an invitation to the technical test this way.

Additional Demonic Lunarian prizes

Obviously, the main prize you want to win is an invitation to the technical test. However, this is a rare prize and there are other prizes you can win via the Demonic Lunarian event for Duet Night Abyss. So far most of the prizes seem to be digital like Character Standees and Character Badges for the various characters including Rebecca and Fushu. However, some have reported winning physical prizes as well like D.N.A.-themed mouse pads and more.

Duet Night Abyss technical test trailer

To celebrate the start of the technical test on March 27, a technical test trailer showing off the world of Atlasia has been released. This trailer features both cinematic story bits as well as actual gameplay footage, so it’s certainly worth checking out if you’re interested in the game!
