Dsi firmware v1.4 brings Facebook to Japanese handhelds

Japanese DSi systems have just been blessed with the latest firmware. The update isn’t stuffed to the gills with features, but it does bring one noteworthy feature — Facebook connectivity. The only other improvement with v1.4 is faster image display with the DSi camera. Since you’re not an infant, however, the camera improvements probably don’t interest you.

If you love Facebook and somehow don’t have a portable electronic that can access it yet, be calm. North America has been promised Facebook connectivity by this Fall. This probably means Europeans can expect a similar update in November 2014.
