New trailer shows off their work

Sony boss Shuhei Yoshida has laid out a new Driveclub release date for PS4: October 7, 2014.

That makes this about a full year delay for what was supposed to be a system launch racer.

Yoshida also announced that Paul Rustchynsky is now at the helm of the game as Director. He has been in that position since February 2014. Before this, he was over MotorStorm RC.

A new trailer shows off what they’ve been working on since we’ve last heard from Evolution Studios. It’s hard to tell from all the fast cuts, but what they’re showing looks great — cars, environments, action — all of it. Hopefully we’ll get to see how it feels at E3.
