Dreamcast alive and well thanks to GunLord

It’s been over a decade since Sega shut off the Dreamcast’s life support and cut the system’s life cycle tragically short, and yet, new games still somehow manage to find their way to the system. Thanks in large part to small studios like NG:DEV.TEAM, the venerable system trudges on with intermittent releases like the recently released GunLord.

Described as a 16-bit run-and-gun platformer, GunLord is said to feature non-linear gameplay over the course of nine levels. Interested parties can order a copy of the release for $39.99 through Play-Asia. An extra tenner will nab you a Limited Edition that includes the title’s soundtrack. Even more impressive still is the “Dragon Box” Collectors Edition which is currently only available for pre-order at $119.99.
