How to grind Research Points fast in Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered
The method I have mentioned there was present in the original version, but the grind was significantly easier. Remastered version has made things harder, but the core method remains the same.
Unlock Kiryu and begin Survival Mode

Your first task is to unlock Kiryu from its research tree and pick the Survival mode. Then, pick Monster Island as the location and map to kickstart the process.
Acing the fight
Shoot a rocket as soon as the match begins, and the AI will always block it. Then, get close to your enemy and grab them with the window that you have created. Once you grab the enemy, get close to the wall just behind the spot where the AI spawns.

You’ll find a lava pit at the location, and you can then use Kiryu’s fierce attack to launch the enemy over the wall without breaking it. Now, the enemy will take 10 damage per second due to the lava.
Once your main tasks is done, your next job is to keep them locked in the pit without failure. If they try to escape, grab and toss them in the lava once again.
When the enemy is in the pit, the wall will usually remain intact. However, the enemy can sometimes wall the hug and take no damage. If that happens, don’t break the wall yourself. Instead, bait them to do that task instead for you. Your only focus is to ensure that the enemy stays in the lava and keeps taking damage.
