[Update: The beta registration is now live and can be accessed here.]

On top of some beautiful new screenshots and a gameplay trailer showing off the recently announced Androids and Super Saiyan Blue characters, a release window and beta dates were announced at Gamecom 2017. The game will release worldwide in February, 2018 while the beta takes place from September 16-18. Sign-ups for the beta begin today, August 22, 2017.

Pre-ordering will unlock Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Vegeta early, as well as provide two exclusive lobby avatars. Not really worth it, especially given how disappointing having Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Vegeta as their own separate characters rather than just power-ups. February is a little ways away, but it gives me plenty of time to finally get to Xenoverse 2.
