Dragon Age: Inquisition caters to all races

Fantasy ones, anyway

Am I still going to be derided for admitting that I rather liked Dragon Age II‘s Hawke? The focus on a human character was more in line with the second outing in Thedas’ narrower vision, and I found that I wasn’t all that fussed about not being able to play a dwarf or an elf.

That said, more choices are always welcome. Game Informer has discovered that, despite what BioWare initially stated, racial choices are returning in Dragon Age: Inquisition. I confess that I am pretty excited to be able to run around the world as a dwarf in his underwear once more.

BioWare has made a big deal out of listening to fan feedback, especially after the extensive criticism of Inquisition’s predecessor, and adding race choices was down to fans clamouring for such a feature. I certainly don’t want the game to be designed by committee, but I’m glad that the studio is open to making changes if the desire from fans is strong enough.

So, what’s going to be your race of choice. I’m a dwarf man, myself. It’s all about the magnificent beards.
