It’s not often that maligned PS3 owners get good news, but today certainly brings them some. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare has had a few hitches on Sony’s black box of Blu-ray, but Infinity Ward is making it up to PS3 gamers everywhere by offering double the experience points in multiplayer matches this weekend.
Starting on Friday and running through to Monday, you’ll be levelling up at double the speed, which should come as something of a salve for those who have had to deal with the matchmaking and stat-tracking issues that originally plagued the PS3 version of CoD4. If you can’t wait to kill “insurgents” more efficiently, this weekend was made for you.
