Still coming in May
The next Doom is still arriving in May, and later this month, the beta will be available. But for now, you can anaylze this multiplayer trailer to your heart’s content. It shows four of the nine multiplayer maps that will launch with the game, which include hazards and objects like teleporters.
It looks kind of neat, but nine maps doesn’t sound all that exciting, and I’m curious if Bethesda will actually support the game with balance patches and fixes post-launch — or at least, frequently enough to hold my interest. For now, I have my heart set on the campaign.
