Disney Dreamlight Valley teases next Star Path event with an emoji mystery to solve

Just dust the hair off the popcorn before eating

With the latest Disney Dreamlight Valley roadmap providing hope that its next update is just around the corner, we might get another Star Path back to back with the current one. For now, the Lovely Monsters event is still underway, but that hasn’t stopped Disney Dreamlight Valley from teasing the next event.

On Twitter, the official Disney Dreamlight Valley account asked players to decipher emoji codes to try and figure out what some of the upcoming items will be, before later showing one of the correct answers and, let me tell you, it is adorable.

This adorable little squirrel is complete with popcorn-making action, although I don’t want to think too in-depth about precisely where this popcorn is coming from.

The Tweet has led many players to speculate over a potential circus or movie theatre theme for the next Star Path, something seemingly backed by the original emoji combinations. Commenters are also excited over the prospect of the carnival rides returning, something many new players missed out on the first time they appeared.

One of the most common guesses for the original emoji combinations is that something from Oliver and Company — although it’s not clear what — is coming to the Valley. We’re unlikely to get any surprise characters, though, and the roadmap has already set out what to expect. Oliver and Company isn’t featured anywhere, although I suppose it’s not outside the realm of possibility.

With all that said, if you’re quick, there’s still time to get your hands on some goodies from the Lovely Monsters Star Path. The event ends on April 17, so it remains to be seen if the next Star Path begins immediately.

In a more recent Twitter post, the Disney Dreamlight Valley account asked if players would like to share their Touch of Magic designs with others during Valley Visits (the game’s multiplayer mode). This, coupled with another Tweet from a few weeks ago, pretty much confirms the use of the mystery new building that’s being added to the Valley.

This new building will likely arrive as part of the same update, which introduces the new Star Path event, but there is no confirmed date for the new goodies just yet.
