Premium merchandise makers First 4 Figures have opened pre-orders on two princely statues, depicting the likenesses of the iconic knights Siegward of Catarina and Siegmeyer of Catarina, as featured in FromSoftware’s acclaimed fantasy adventure Dark Souls 3.
Cast in resin and standing a little over eight inches in height, the two statues feature stylized, chibi takes on the Catarinian nobles, known to players as the “Onion Knights” due to their bulbous helmets. The two statues see Siegward and Siegmeyer in personality-reflective poses, and feature fine detailing to their armor and bases, with atmospheric elements of dirt, grime, and battle damage.
While undeniably delightful pieces, that would fit snugly into the guardhouse of the most dedicated Dark Souls fan — the added security of having the Onion Knights in your home comes at a cost. Each statue retails for a princely £250 GBP (or roughly $300 USD), and thus customers are looking at around £500 for the pair, not including shipping charges.
