Dark Souls PC petition boasts over 48,000 signatures

Last week, we brought word of a petition asking Namco Bandai to release Dark Souls on PC. At last count, there were 13,000 signatures. Now, there are over 48,000 and the number keeps climbing. Just two hours ago (at the time of writing), the signatures were at 46,000.

Porting such a large game would be a huge undertaking, and with PC piracy fears forever present in the minds of publishers, it seems like Namco Bandai will be a tough nut to crack. Still, buzz around this petition has been immense, and gamers seem to think they’re in with a shot.

I’d love to see Dark Souls on PC, just to see how it runs. For curiosity’s sake alone, I definitely support the effort. If you’d like to see a PC version, you can easily add your name to the ever growing list of signers.
