Dark Devotion is a rad looking Gothic platformer hitting PC and consoles this year

No specific platforms yet for the latter

Back in 2017 Hibernian Workshop Kickstarted Dark Devotion with a modest goal of €31,796, and it seems to be coming along already.

They’ve dropped new footage that shows off what they’ve been working on, which involves a narrative that centers around a “mystical temple,” and themes of “suffering, piety, and conviction.” I really dig the variety of equipment shown off in the trailer, and the game supposedly has a loot-centric focus in addition to a curse and blessing system that modifies certain game parameters.

They didn’t quite hit their April 2018 release goal (who does?) that was initially communicated in their Kickstarter, as Dark Devotion is scheduled to launch “later this year” on PC and consoles.
