I don’t know what it’s going to take to get this through to you: If you own a PlayStation 3 and enjoy games, you should go log into the PlayStation Store and buy Capybara Games’ Critter Crunch.

“At only $6.99, Critter Crunch may very well be one of the best values in puzzle gaming you’ll find this year,” I wrote in my review, before I slapped a 9.5 and a Destructoid “Editor’s Choice” badge on it.

Seven dollars. That’s a dollar a day for a week. Less than a cup of coffee, and other things Sally Struthers used to say about helping starving children. But according to a Capybara developer posting on NeoGAF, the game isn’t doing so well.

“Not selling so hot,” user Cromulent_Word wrote. “Very sad over here too. Hopefully the demo will help, but what can you do — we made the best game we could for the best price we could, but in the end it’s the gamers that define your level of sales success.”

This is sad news, considering it’s easily one of the best puzzle games on PSN… and it’s only seven freakin’ dollars, guys. If you’re on the fence about it (and you shouldn’t be, seriously), there will be a demo hitting PSN next week.

Did you buy Critter Crunch, and if not, why the hell not?
