But first, let’s find out when the game goes live so you don’t have to waste a minute.

Corsair Cove release countdown

Corsair Cove goes live worldwide on Friday, July 31. The following countdown will expire once the game goes live.

Hurry Up!

The countdown is based on the following times.

  • 8am PDT
  • 10am CDT
  • 11am EDT
  • 3pm UTC
  • 4pm BST
  • 5pm CEST

The times are based on Steam DB. I am not expecting any changes as of late. However, I will update this guide if there’s a tweak to the launch schedule.

What to expect from Corsair Cove

At its core, Corsair Cove is a city builder that forces you to think tall and build on terrains that are actually difficult to manage. Instead of flat land, you will be building your resource centers on cliffs and managing complex production chains. Doing so will help you to expand your business and establish yourself among the Crown’s biggest enemies.

It is up to you to manufacture different resources using what you have on your hands, and then equip your crew and build mighty ships to survive the war against the Crown. As you raid and pillage nearby islands to acquire different riches, you will get to uncover plenty of treasures and threats alike.

At first, you won’t have many resources, and all you will have is the wreckage of your ship and a surviving crew. Starting from scratch, it is up to you how you manage the resources you have on hand. As a pirate, you have to control how your crew works and what resources are produced. Balancing it out is essential, since you won’t have an infinite number of riches at your disposal.

The best way to experience Corsair Cove early is to try the demo, which is still available on Steam. You can also wishlist it to stay on top of the upcoming launch.
