Hearken back to the early 00s with this contest for Legrand Legacy: Tale of the Fatebounds.

Remember the days when you’d go to the store, pick a game off the shelf, and know you were about to experience 50+ hours of RPG goodness without any DLC, updates, or microtransactions in sight? I miss the early 00s, man.

Come win a copy of Switch RPG Legrand Legacy: Tale of the Fatebounds, and transport yourself back to those days of glory.

Developer Semisoft says it best:

LEGRAND LEGACY: Tale of the Fatebounds is a love letter to our all time favorite JRPGs with a fresh take on classic turn-based combat and tactics. Welcome to Legrand, a beautifully hand-drawn world riddled with curious creatures, devastating wars, and intriguing tales of vengeance and redemption. Embark on an epic adventure through this sprawling fantasy universe and fight alongside the Fatebounds as they attempt to bring peace to Legrand! But be careful who you trust because everyone has a secret to hide…

Game features:

  • Engaging, relatable, and tear-jerking storyline.
  • Strategic gameplay mechanics including turn-based simultaneous clash QTEs to satisfy your nostalgic itch.
  • Command the military might of nations in intense tactical battles.
  • Delve deeper into your experience through mini-games, rewarding side quests, and castle rebuilding.
  • Craft and configure items and grimoires, upgrade weapons and set your combat formation.
  • Immerse yourself with an epic original orchestral soundtrack including music by world famous Emi Evans.

This seriously makes me super wistful for my teens when I could just sit down and play a video game for 50+ hours. If you still have that luxury, savor every minute of it.

To enter for your chance to win your very own Switch copy, comment below telling us your region (NA/EU) and the video game on which you’ve spent the most amount of time. I don’t have a number to give you, but I’ve restarted Skyrim about 20 times at this point. I’ve never actually beaten the game, as it were, but have gotten halfway through the story several times before getting bogged down by sidequests. My OCD makes me get anxious if I have any open sidequests, which is not good for a game with endless sidequests. It’s just so damned addicting — I can’t stop!

We have four NA keys and one EU key to give away. Winners will be drawn on Saturday, February 2.
