Honestly, who doesn’t love 3D platformers with puzzles? For roughly two and a half console generations, it was essentially the bread and butter of gaming. The beef and potatoes. The ham and cheese. The…uh…spaghetti and toothpaste?

Incredible Mandy is an action-platformer from small development team, Dotoyou Games. I’ll let them tell you about it:
Incredible Mandy tells the story of a brother and sister who must recover their memory they buried deep inside after a tragic event. With the ability to summon up a light sword for combat and puzzle solving, the player will traverse eight distinct landscapes packed with puzzles and a boss fight at the end of each level to uncover the truth between the siblings.
One thing I definitely love in these games is a good, old-fashioned boss battle. I love finding patterns and exploiting them, and I love when puzzles are incorporated into the fight! The more complicated or intricate, the better.
Comment below telling us your favorite boss battle to be thrown into the drawing. I could cheat and pick literally any of the fights from Shadow of the Colossus, but I think I’ll instead go with the final showdown with Wesker from Resident Evil 5. Yes, I know it’s stupid. And yes, that’s why I like it. Fight me.
