Enter today’s contest for a chance to win a Steam copy of Dead Cells.
Who here likes roguelikes? What about highly-reviewed roguelikes? If something impresses Chris Carter, then I’d say it’s a pretty solid bet.
Check out Chris’ review for Dead Cells. And while you’re at it, win a Steam copy for yourself!
Dead Cells is its own genre: RogueVania. Traverse through an ever-changing castle as you tackle seemingly insurmountable odds. Well, a lot are going to be insurmountable at first — you’ll need to actually get better at the game to progress! Shocking! Unlock new paths, new areas, permanent upgrades, and more as you platform your way through one of the best MetroidVanias out there.
Have some game features:
- RogueVania: The progressive exploration of an interconnected world, with the replayability of a rogue-lite and the adrenaline pumping threat of permadeath.
- 2D Souls-lite Action: Tough but fair combat, more than fifty weapons and spells with unique gameplay, and of course, the emergency panic roll to get you out of trouble.
- Nonlinear progression: Sewers, Ossuary or Remparts? Once unlocked, special permanent abilities allow you to access new paths to reach your objective. Opt for the path that suits your current build, your play style or just your mood.
- Exploration: Secret rooms, hidden passages, charming landscapes. Take a moment to stroll the towers and breath in that fresh sea mist infused air…
This looks legit dope as hell, so quit dilly-dallying an just win it.
To enter, comment below telling us what caused the dead cells in your body. I thought the years of alcohol use, loud music, indecent exposures, and social chicanery had killed most of my important cells, but it turns out that exercise and healthy diet were the actual culprits. Man, I gotta start doing all that other stuff again.
We have 15 Steam copies to give away. Winners will be drawn on Saturday, February 23. Make sure to comment using a Dtoid account with your current email address on file. New users can sign up here and tell us all about your bad decisions!
