If you’re in the UK or the wider EU, you can get a free copy of Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition on PC. Just go to the site, fill out the form, and then go ahead and get dying. Just remember to install DSFix first, because the PC port is awful otherwise.
I have to admit I hated Dark Souls until earlier this year when I forced myself to power on through it. I’m so glad I did because I have since devoured Dark Souls II, am on a second run of Bloodborne, and am a bit too excited for Dark Souls III.
