Chaos Space Marines finally coming to Dawn of War II

When it comes to Warhammer 40,000, I’m all about the Orks. But whether we’re talking fighting games or real-time strategy, you really can’t play as the same thing every single time, so I also tend to side with the Chaos Space Marines on occasion.

Announced today and coming to Games for Windows LIVE in spring of 2010, Chaos Rising will be bringing the race to Dawn of War II as a standalone expansion. A few of the more notable features include: single-player and co-op campaigns (20 missions), a raise in level cap from 20 to 30, more war gear, and new, unspecified additions to multiplayer.

No screenshots were sent out alongside the press release, but we’re told PC Gamer will have the inside scoop on October 12. In other words, the information will leak out onto the Internet the week before. Anyone interested in hearing more about Chaos Rising?
