Yes, Capcom has officially announced that the Resident Evil 5 demo will be coming to the PlayStation 3 on February 2. The demo will feature two levels, Shanty Town and Assembly place, and will support single-player, online co-op, and split-screen co-op. It will be available on the PlayStation Network for the sweet price of “free.”
As previously revealed, Xbox 360 owners will be getting it first … well, if you’re an Xbox LIVE Gold account holder, that is. The Microsoft flavor will be available on January 26.
Resident Evil 5 hits retail on March 13, and yeah, it looks like you’re going to need a calendar to keep track of all of these dates.
