Considering the massive success of the previous titles in Japan, this should come as no surprise — Monster Hunter Freedom 3 for the PlayStation Portable has been announced. Set for a late 2010 release, the game will feature improved cooperative play and communication, along with an update to the game’s Felyne Comrade system.
To promote the game and the series, Capcom is taking over Japan’s Greenland theme park in Kumamoto. Call the “Monster Hunter World” exposition, the theme park will feature Monster Hunter-themed attractions and merchandise to drain Japanese wallets dry of yen.
Capcom’s released its first trailer for the game, which should have Monster Hunter fans on the edge of their seats and everyone else asking “Really? Another Monster Hunter game?” Which camp do you fall into?
