Before THQ was known for such great games as MX vs. ATV and Homefront, it made a name for itself with titles like The Ren & Stimpy Show: Veediots!. In those days, even before publishing the Ghost in the Shell PS1 game, THQ was working on a game based on the seminal anime Akira

You can check out this old interview about the disappeared licensed game, but it seems the entire thing wasn’t as lost to the ether as we had thought. Not that this short video (and monster at the end) makes us feel like we’re missing much.
