XSEED Games has announced that BurgerTime Party! will be arriving in the west on Nintendo Switch this fall. G-Mode’s “reimagining” of Data East’s classic 1982 arcade will spice up the old-school platforming gameplay with a slick new look and multiplayer action.

BurgerTime Party! will also feature new enemies and hazards as Chef Peter Pepper – clearly destined to be a cook by his birthname – attempts to build a selection of humongous hamburgers while fending off sentient eggs, sausages and gherkins, armed with only a pepper shaker and a smug facial expression. It was a simpler time.

The new multiplayer mode, perfect for Nintendo’s hybrid console, will allow up to four chefs to compete or co-operate in over 100 newly-designed levels. You can check out some new screenshots in the gallery below. BurgerTime Party! launches on Nintendo Switch this fall.
