Splash Damage’s Brink is a game I am very much interested in hearing more about, and from the look of it, I’m not alone. At PAX, not only did the demonstration booth for the game fill up, but the crowd of intrigued gamers even managed to spill over into other booths as well.
Beyond just the unique look of Brink, which, seriously, you need to see in motion, some of the game’s mechanics have also got me all hot and bothered.
From the S.M.A.R.T. system (it stands for something) that automatically makes your character traverse obstacles so you don’t get stuck in the middle of a gunfight to Splash Damage’s emphasis on mixing single-player with online play, I am pumped for this game.
If you’re half as excited as I am, you should go back and read our previous coverage of Brink. Trust me, you’ll be glad you did.
