Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 3 release date, time, and countdown

Every new season of Call of Duty revitalizes the franchise in new ways, whether with the latest maps or weapons. Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 3 will continue this trend, where we will see the return of a beloved map. Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming update.  

BO6 and Warzone season 3 release dates, explained

While Black Ops 6 and Warzone season three was set to release simultaneously, it has now been divided into two release dates. We’ll explain the launch times of both iterations to give you a clear picture.

Black Ops 6 season 3 launch times

Season three will begin with Black Ops 6 Multiplayer and Zombies content on April 2 at 9am PT/12pm ET/4pm GMT. It’s a day earlier than expected, and it’ll likely require a substantial amount of storage space when the pre-loads roll out. Here’s a countdown to show you the exact time BO6 season three drops:

Warzone season 3 launch times

Warzone season three, otherwise known as “Return to Verdansk,” will launch on April 3 at 9am PT/12pm ET/4pm GMT, a day after Black Ops 6’s seasonal debut. Check out this countdown to prepare for the Verdansk’s comeback:

The COD POD also indicates that Warzone will go offline 24 hours prior. You can use this time to try out Black Ops 6’s free trial period, where all premium content will be available, even if you don’t own a copy of BO6.

What to expect in Black Ops 6 season 3

Once it hits April 2, you can anticipate loads of new content for BO6 Multiplayer, Zombies, Battle Pass, and BlackCell content. Shattered Veil will be the next undead map, which will be larger than Liberty Falls and the Tomb.

Based on the Rogue Team Hideout teaser, Russell Adler will be the frontman of Season 3. This will likely include a unique Operator skin, but we won’t know for sure until the BO6 roadmap drops. Luckily, the wait won’t be too long, as news has already been confirmed for tomorrow.  

What to expect in Warzone season 3

Although Black Ops 6 season three is still a mystery, we do know a lot about Warzone’s next phase. If it wasn’t obvious enough, the return of Verdansk is the main highlight, bringing back the OG days of Warzone. The map will get an exclusive event where players can earn Verdansk-inspired rewards.

You can also get your hands on returning weapons, including the Kilo 141 Assault Rifle, CR-56 AMAC Assault Rifle, and HDR Sniper Rifle. You’ll instantly receive the Kilo 141, Domino Operator, and Mil-Sim USEF Operator by logging into Warzone.
