Big Ambitions has plenty of changes in the full version, but getting a smooth start remains as tough as ever. If you’re going with a custom save, you can make things easier for yourself, but there’s no such option with the story mode.
In this guide, I will go through a method that has been working well for me. It might be slightly boring, but it will immediately turn you into a money magnet.
How to get the best start in Big Ambitions
To get an easy start, you’ll want to have $40,000-$50,000. Needless to say, you won’t have that right at the beginning, and working your way to that figure will seem impossible.

Instead, your best shot is to go for a loan. If you don’t qualify for it, work for a few days at any place, and you’ll qualify for the loan. Once you get the money, it’s time to get a retail shop with 30 customer slots or more. Make sure to rent one that has decent traffic. With the rest of the money, open a gym.

Our aim here is to not maintain Gold’s Gym. Instead, we will go for cheaper options with priority going towards variety. Having more options is key in the beginning. Once we have more money, we can always opt for expensive equipments. However, variety is key to stop customers from complaining.
Keep the gym open for 24 hours and on all seven days. Go for four cleaners and four trainers at least. Go for six-hour shifts daily instead of eight hours. Make sure that there’s no hour being missed as you schedule the rotation.
That’s all you have to do to earn more money than you’ll ever need. What’s even better is that you don’t need to do anything extra, and the businesses require no maintenance. This is a nice setup to build on as you expand your business empire.
