Phantom Blade Zero is now available worldwide, and if you’re on PC, your first job is to get the best graphics settings tuned for your system. The game is fairly graphic intensive by today’s times but equally well-optimized.

That said, playing with the best possible settings is going to feel smoother and better.

Best Phantom Blade Zero graphics settings

Before discussing the best settings, here’s quick overview about my own specifications.

  • 32 GB of DDR4 RAM
  • AMD Ryzen 7 5700X
  • AMD Radeon 9060XT 16 GB

I haven’t had many problems running the game. However, devices closer to the minimum requirements will be prone to struggle due to lags and stutters. In this guide, I have focused more towards a set of settings that allows the game to run smoothly on ‘weaker’ devices.

  • Super Resolution Method: I have kept this turned off. However, this will be really useful for your PC if you’re getting lag and stutters. Choose your preferential one from the settings.
  • Dynamic Resolution Scaling: Off
  • Super Resolution Output Scale: 100%
  • Frame Generation: Off
  • NVIDIA Reflex: Off
  • Quality Preset: Custom
  • Shadow Quality: Low
  • Reflection Quality; Low
  • Post-Processing Quality: Medium
  • Lighting Quality: Low
  • Effects Quality: Low
  • Material Quality: Low
  • Ambient Occlusion Quality: Medium
  • Depth of Field Quality: Medium
  • Motion Blur Quality: Low
  • Anti-Aliasing: Low
  • View Distance: Medium
  • Character Texture Quality: Low
  • Character Model Quality: Low
  • High Quality Hair: Off
  • Environment Texture Quality: Medium
  • Environment Model Quality: Low
  • Environment Detail Quality: Low

Phantom Blade Zero looks fairly well-optimized on launch day. Unlike few other recent launches that I have tested before, the implementation of Super Resolution methods has been done pretty well. Using the settings mentioned above will run the game smooth as long as you are at or above the minimum requirements.
